4 Months old & lots of Laughs!

Kaelyn is 4 months old and growing and changing so fast!  She now weighs just over 13 lbs and is 25 inches long.  She is in the 50th percentile for her weight and 90th percentile for her height.  (Advice to new mom's, don't get their shots the Friday before your first mother's day!) She's been rolling over, although not captured on video, and laughing/smiling/talking up a storm!  We also got her a new activity center which she is still a little small for, but she seemed to enjoy playing in it today.  Now her next big milestone will be trying solid foods, but I'm not ready for that yet so she's just going to have to wait till I'm done working.  Only 4 weeks to go, but I have to say that Mr. Mom, a.k.a. Steve, is doing a great job! 

Meet Alice

We are very excited to introduce Kaelyn's first cousin, and our first niece, Alice Herrmann, born on St. Patty's day! It's Laura's, (my sister), and Andy's first child. There's only 2 months between the two girls, so the timing couldn't have been more perfect. We're moving up to Portland this July and the girls will get to have their first, of many play dates. 

We should also mention that we have more friends for Kaelyn awaiting her arrival to Portland. Little miss Finley Rushing, who was born 3 days after Kaelyn, and my cousin Julie is expecting her baby girl in August. Yep, that's a lot of girls!

HaPpy BiRthDay!

Kaelyn is 4 months old today! We celebrated the day with frozen yogurt for lunch, then a photo shoot in the afternoon, and Kaelyn ended the day with a bang! (literally) She was sitting in her high chair, and we heard an explosion in her diaper. I immediately picked her up to find that she just had a major blow out which resulted in a bath. Good Times...
