Family Photo Shoot

Steve bought a Groupon for a photo session with Aaron Bluemenshine Photography, so we decided this was a great opportunity to get some family portraits. The pictures were taken at 1 in the afternoon last weekend and it was very bright for Kaelyn to open her big blue beautiful eyes. But overall we are happy to have some pictures of our family!  Enjoy!

Summer & Solids!

School is out for the summer and I am officially on summer vacation!  One of my summer goals is to start introducing solid foods to Kaelyn.  Up until now she has only tried rice cereal.  And now that I have time, I am going to be pureeing up a storm!  We started with carrots and Kaelyn seemed to enjoy the bright orange mush!  Here are some pics of her enjoying her yummy food!

Do I have to eat this?

More carrots please!

Do I have something on my face?
Love my carrots!

SLO Trip'n

Memorial Day Weekend we took a trip down memory lane and visited our college town, San Luis Obispo, recently titled, "The Happiest Town in America." It truly is a fun little town, and we loved going to college there. To our delight, Kaelyn was a perfect little angel the entire trip. She slept most of the 3 hour drive, and was a good sport, as we toured her around all our favorite spots.

On the car ride down we cut over to the coast to meet up with my boss Jim, in Morro Bay, where I lived and worked for a year. After meeting Jim, we did a quick drive down the Embarcadero to see the boats in the harbor, and The Galley Seafood Grill & Bar. I did their logo, website and signage. Check it out: www.GalleyMorroBay.com

After Morro Bay, we arrived in SLO and had lunch at one of our favorite joints "Firestones," which is where I was introduced to the famous tri-tip. If you're in California you gotta get tri-tip!

Then we walked around downtown, and bought Kaelyn a hat just like her dad's. Now we're twins. She's a cutie, see photo of Kaelyn sporting her new hat.

On Sunday morning Amy and I enjoyed the hotel hot tub, while Kaelyn did her tummy time next to the tub. Then we took a quick trip to Avila Beach, and walked out on the pier. I was hoping to get some Kona's for lunch, which was the sandwich shop I worked at, but it burnt down, so instead we had Splash Cafe. Kaelyn fell asleep, so we drove through Cal Poly campus instead of walking. The campus has changed so much. Tons of construction and new buildings. Maybe Kaelyn will go there some day :)
